Maya Angelou said it perfectly - "people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." 

I am writing this blog. You’re here reading, and according to Maya, you’ll forget what I say (except the internet lives forever so you can reread it if that's the case), you'll forget what I do in my day-to-day life, but maybe, just maybe you'll remember how I made you feel.

I try to be mindful of Maya's philosophy in my work as well as my personal life. You've undoubtedly heard about the "pay it forward" thing in coffee shop drive-thrus where one person pays for the person behind them, and that person for the person behind them, and on and on. Or how about random acts of kindness (RAK)? Making someone feel good begets good feelings. People remember how you make them feel – the good, the bad, and the ugly.
